Cannabis flower is sold by weight, usually in grams. The familiar names “eighth,” “quarter,” “half ounce” and “ounce” are shopping shorthand. The product page and cart should show the actual gram amount you selected.
Common flower weights
- 1g: one gram.
- 3.5g: commonly called an eighth of an ounce.
- 7g: commonly called a quarter ounce.
- 14g: commonly called a half ounce.
- 28g: commonly called an ounce in cannabis shopping.
Not every product is available in every size. One flower may have only a 3.5g option, while another may offer several weights. Stock can also differ by size, so selecting a different row on the product page may change both the price and availability.
How to compare prices
Compare the same weight first. If Product A shows a 3.5g starting price and Product B shows a 14g price, the sticker prices are not a useful direct comparison. Select 3.5g on both products when possible.
Price per gram can help when the package sizes differ. Divide the package price by the number of grams. For example, a 7g package priced at $56 works out to $8 per gram. That calculation explains the unit price, but it does not mean the larger package is the better purchase for your budget. The final total and amount of flower still matter.
Size does not describe quality
A larger package is not automatically fresher, stronger or higher grade. Weight only tells you how much flower is in the selected option. Read Eon’s house grade, THC and CBD values, strain type, aroma notes, price, stock and photos as separate details. None of those fields alone guarantees a result.
Smaller sizes can be useful when you want a lower order total, while larger sizes reduce how often you select another package. That is a budget and quantity choice, not a quality rule.
Watch the cart
Flower pages use selectable weight rows. After choosing a weight, add the product and check the cart line carefully. It should show the product, selected weight, quantity and price you intended. Increasing the cart quantity means buying more than one package of that selected weight.
A quick size checklist
- Choose the gram amount before comparing prices.
- Check whether that exact size is in stock.
- Confirm the price changes when you select another weight.
- Use price per gram only as one comparison tool.
- Review the selected weight and package quantity in the cart.
