Each active deal should state the eligible items or subtotal, the discount, the start and end time, and whether a code is required. The cart and checkout provide the final calculation after eligibility is checked.

- Account offer: sign in before checkout when eligibility is tied to an account.
Before checkout
Offers can have product, category, quantity, customer or date limits. Adding or removing an item can change eligibility, and overlapping offers may not combine. Review the final cart total rather than assuming every promotion stacks.
When no offer is active, the page remains a transparent status page instead of displaying an expired promotion. Returning customers can check the same URL without searching old announcements or abandoned coupon pages.
The offer page is also separate from the evergreen Learn and Journal libraries. That keeps short-lived promotion details from competing with long-term educational pages in search and gives expired campaigns one managed destination instead of many thin URLs.
