This Interac e-Transfer cannabis order guide explains what to do after checkout. Place the order first, then use the recipient, exact amount, order reference and payment code generated for that order.
Interac e-Transfer cannabis order steps
- Place the order on Eon. Checkout creates the order number and shows the complete total. Do not send a transfer before an order exists.
- Open online or mobile banking. Choose Interac e-Transfer and add the payment email shown in your Eon instructions.
- Send the exact order total. The amount must match the confirmation page so staff can match the deposit quickly.
- Use the order reference. Put Order # followed by your order number in the bank message. Do not include cannabis or product names.
- Return to Eon. Open the order page and select I sent the transfer. Staff will still verify the deposit before processing.
Your order code
If the payment recipient uses auto-deposit, your bank may not ask for a security question or answer. The order reference is still important.
If a security answer is required, the confirmation page shows the exact code. Eon uses the format EON followed by the order number, such as EON1048. Use the code shown for your own order rather than copying an example.
What “I sent the transfer” means
The button records that you reported the transfer as sent and places a note on the order for staff. It is not automated bank verification and it does not change the order to paid. The order remains on hold until a staff member confirms the deposit.
Select the button once. Repeated clicks do not speed up verification. If the transfer details do not match the order, contact support with the order number and explain the difference without sending banking credentials or security answers.
Keep these details private
- Never send an online-banking password, one-time code or bank login screenshot to Eon.
- Do not put product or cannabis names in the bank message.
- Use only the payment recipient shown on the Eon order page and matching order email.
- Keep the bank confirmation for your own records until the order moves into processing.
What happens next?
After payment is verified, the order moves into processing. Packing and shipment updates follow after that. Read how the complete order workflow works or review Canada Post shipping and tracking.
