Edibles can be gummies, chocolates, baked goods, candies, beverages or other food-style products. Shopping them is easier when you separate flavour and format from the numbers on the label. Start with the full package, then work down to the amount in each piece or serving unit.
Six details to check
- Edible type: gummy, chocolate, drink or another listed format.
- Piece count: the number of individual pieces or units in the package.
- Net quantity: the total food weight or volume, which is different from cannabinoid content.
- THC and CBD per piece: only when the label or product page clearly states a per-piece amount.
- THC and CBD per package: the total amount in the complete package.
- Ingredients and allergens: read these separately from the cannabinoid panel.
Do not assume one large number applies to every piece. A package with four pieces and 10 mg total THC does not contain 10 mg in each piece. Likewise, a flavour name does not tell you the cannabinoid amount.
Keep the units attached
Milligrams describe cannabinoid amount. Grams and millilitres describe the weight or volume of the food or drink. Piece count describes how many units are inside. These fields may sit close together on a label, but they are not interchangeable.
Ratios need the actual numbers beside them. A 1:1 label describes the relationship between two listed cannabinoids, not whether the package contains 1 mg, 5 mg or another amount. Read the THC and CBD lines to find the quantities.
Ingredients can decide the choice
Check the complete ingredient list if you avoid a food, follow a dietary preference or have an allergy or sensitivity. Look for any separate allergen statement on the package. Product photos and flavour names are not substitutes for that list. The physical package is the final reference when the order arrives.
Compare two edibles fairly
Use the same questions for each product: How many pieces are included? What is the total THC and CBD? Is a per-piece amount shown? What is the full package price? Which ingredients or allergens are listed? This gives you a clearer comparison than sorting by flavour or package size alone.
Before checkout
- Confirm the exact flavour and product option.
- Check the piece count and full-package cannabinoid amounts.
- Review ingredients, allergens and storage directions.
- Check the current price and stock.
- Confirm the same product and quantity in the cart.
