Cannabis order tracking in Canada begins after two separate events: Eon verifies the Interac transfer, then the packed parcel receives a Canada Post tracking number. An order number and a tracking number are not the same thing.
Cannabis order tracking before the parcel
Checkout creates an Eon order number immediately. An Interac order starts on hold while the deposit is waiting for staff verification. Selecting I sent the transfer reports that the payment was sent, but it does not confirm the bank deposit or create a shipment.
After staff verifies payment, the order can move into processing. This means the order is in the fulfilment workflow; it does not mean Canada Post has already scanned a parcel. The Interac payment guide explains how the payment code and report button work.
When the tracking number appears
Eon attaches tracking when the parcel enters the shipping workflow. The number can appear in the shipment email and in the order details for a signed-in customer. A guest should keep the order email because it contains the route back to the order record.
A newly created label may exist before the carrier records its first physical scan. During that interval, a tracking page can show that information was submitted without showing movement. Check again after Canada Post has had an opportunity to accept and scan the parcel.
Eon order status and carrier status
| Status source | Example | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Eon order | On hold | The Interac transfer is still waiting for staff verification. |
| Eon order | Processing | Payment was confirmed and the order is being prepared. |
| Eon order | Completed | The store workflow is complete; use the carrier record for parcel movement. |
| Canada Post | Electronic information submitted | A label exists, but the first network scan may not yet appear. |
| Canada Post | In transit | The parcel has recorded movement through the carrier network. |
| Canada Post | Available for pickup | Follow the carrier notice and bring the identification it requests. |
If you have no tracking number yet
- Confirm that the order is no longer on hold.
- Check the checkout email address, including the junk folder.
- Open the order in My Account if the purchase is attached to an account.
- Review the current processing information on the Shipping page.
- Contact support with the Eon order number when the order has passed the stated processing window.
Do not create another order or send a second transfer simply because tracking is not visible. Payment verification, packing and carrier acceptance are separate steps.
If the first carrier scan is delayed
Compare the time of the shipment email with the latest carrier event. A label generated late in the day, before a weekend or during a service interruption may not show immediate movement. The tracking page is the source for carrier scans; Eon cannot invent an event that Canada Post has not recorded.
If no scan appears after the normal handoff period stated by Eon, send support the order number and tracking number. Do not post either number in a public comment or social message.
If tracking shows a delivery exception
Read the exact carrier message before contacting support. An incomplete address, inaccessible delivery point, weather interruption or pickup notice can require a different next step. Canada Post may provide an instruction directly on the tracking page.
An address usually cannot be casually changed after a parcel has entered the carrier network. Confirm the recipient, street, unit, city, province and postal code during checkout.
If tracking says delivered but the parcel is not visible
Check the delivery location, household parcel area and any carrier notice. In a shared building, follow the building’s normal parcel process. If the parcel remains missing, contact support with the order number, tracking number and delivery event time so the correct investigation can begin.
Keep the support handoff useful
- Eon order number.
- Canada Post tracking number, when one exists.
- The exact latest tracking event and timestamp.
- A concise description of what is missing or unexpected.
Never send a bank password, one-time banking code, Interac security answer or full gift-card code. For packaging questions after delivery, read what an Eon parcel should look like.
