Freshness is difficult to judge from an online listing alone. A product page can show current photos, package information and a written description, but it cannot prove the condition of the exact item that will arrive. The most useful approach is to review the listing before ordering, then inspect the sealed product promptly after delivery.
What the product page can tell you
Look for clear product photos, the exact product type, size, current stock, supplied aroma notes and any storage directions. For packaged products, the physical label may include a packaging date, lot number or producer information that is not repeated online. Treat any missing detail as unknown rather than filling it in from a similar product.
Aroma words such as citrus, pine, earthy or sweet describe the supplied profile. They do not guarantee how strong the product will smell when opened. Photos can show colour and general structure, but lighting, screens and natural variation can affect what you see.
Inspect the order when it arrives
- Check the outer parcel for tears, moisture, crushing or signs it was opened.
- Match every product and quantity to the order confirmation.
- Inspect seals, jars, bags, cartridges and devices for visible damage or leaks.
- Keep labels readable and note any product-specific storage directions.

Storage after delivery
Keep cannabis in or with its original labelled package. Follow the storage directions printed for that exact product because flower, edibles, oils, concentrates and vaporizer hardware can have different needs. Avoid prolonged heat, direct light and unintended moisture unless the package says otherwise.
Choose a secure location away from children, teenagers, pets and anyone who should not handle the product. Keep edible cannabis separate from ordinary food so packages cannot be confused. Do not transfer different products into one unlabelled container.
What freshness does not mean
Freshness is not the same as THC percentage, flower grade or price. A higher THC number does not prove better storage. A Reserve label is a house tier, not a freshness certificate. A strong aroma is not a reliable measure of potency. Use each detail for the limited question it can answer.
